Part Time Project Manager for Web + Desktop SaaS

Role: Part-Time / Hybrid

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia

PDF Pro Software Inc is an 8-person team looking for a great project manager to join us manage some of our projects part-time. You will be reporting to the Company’s co-founders, and in will be in constant interaction with business/marketing, the Software Developers, and a UX designer.

The 2 main projects that you will be responsible for will be our online web applications, and several multi-language websites. You might also help coordinate tasks relating to the desktop application, a Windows-based PDF Editing software.

We are looking for someone who is very well organized, motivated, self-reliant, and who has great attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

· Acting as a single point of contact for requests coming from the digital marketing team and ensuring tasks are completed and communicated to the appropriate stakeholders.

· Gathering business and technical requirements from the different stakeholders

· Prioritizing, and estimating workload for tasks

· Coordinating assigning and following up on work between web developers

· Assisting in the coordination of work for the desktop application developers

· Managing the sprints and ensuring the projects are progressing

Requirements:

· Strong Organizational skills

· Comfortable working with software developers, DevOps, and the digital marketing team

· Comfortable working with a small team (8-12 people)

· Expert at using an issue tracking tool, such as Teamwork, Jira, or similar

· Bachelor or Masters degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, IT business management) preferred

· Work experience as a software developer and/or technical role preferred

· Knowledge of Web Analytics a plus

· Knowledge of Portable Document Files a plus
